***Alaskan Eskimo Inuit artifact / lot of 277 pieces***
~Arctic ivory, harpoon heads, harpoon points, bird arrow blunts, awls, bola weights, fossilized whale bones and seal teeth, walrus ivory, netting needles, and many more misc. pieces. (12" wood ruler not included). There is a questionable bone and a piece of driftwood, that are not fossilized, but were with the collection.
~Having sat in the private collection of a passionate world traveler, archaeologist, geologist, service man, and lecturer for over 50 years, his personal and vast collection of international stones and artifacts was auctioned off 1 year ago, and I became the keeper of this particular and amazing collection.
~These pieces are amazing!!! Great patina. Almost every single piece has some kind of hand carving on it, but not all- such as the seal teeth
~I have broken everything you see in the primary picture into lettered categories, and taken several pictures of each piece close up, and, from all angles, many next to a ruler to show size and perspective. For each piece, I also have close up pics of any holes, and carving marks. Since eBay will only allow 12 pictures, you will have to contact me with any questions or inquiries about the collection or any specific pieces.
