VTG Ducks WOOD Wall Plaque with Clothes Pegs Robe Hook Mertens Kunst German.
This is an adorable, vintage, duck family wall plaque with two attached clothes pegs, made in 1971 by Mertens Kunst in West Germany. Constructed of plywood and hand painted, it was well loved over the years as the piece has some scratch marks and chips, notably on the ducks beaks and the mama ducks bonnet. There is also some chipping on the back side of the plaque; again along the bonnet, beaks and bottom edge. Overall, it is in very good, pre owned condition. Please check the photos closely for more detail on condition. Mertens Kunst made these bright and cheery children’s wall plaques from 1960 into the 1990’s. This comes from a smoke free home.
Measurements: 10” tall by 9” wide.
