Presented for your consideration is this neat vintage sewing machine. The machine is a 1950s Model 221 featherweight sewing machine made by Singer. The machine features a all metal black body with "Singer" written in dark gold lettering on the side of the lamp. At the bottom of the arm there are two small plaques. One that reads "221" and the other is a Singer plaque. The motor for the machine is located at the back of the machine. The belt that connects the motor to the wheel is intact and looks to be in pretty good condition. The electrical cord and control box also look to be in very good condition with no damage to the sheathing. Serial number on the bottom is AL908508. At the time of listing the machine is in WORKING condition. All moving parts move easily except for the belt that needs a little push to get going. A little lubrication should correct this. The machine stores in a hard shell carrying case. It comes with the instruction booklet, motor lubricant, Singer oil, box of attachments, and a feed cover plate (new, old stock). This neat machine would make a great addition to any sewing memorabilia collection or a neat machine to use!
Very light age and use wear. Overall in VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details.
