Vintage 1949 Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine w/Case & Attachments. This Machine is serial # AJ196492 was my mothers, she bought it in 1950. my father was in the Navy so we moved quite often and each time we moved to a new place Mom would use it to make curtains. Each time I would get a new pair of blue jeans she would use it to hem the cuffs. It has many attachment feet that are included; Original Presser Foot, Ruffler Attachment, Bias Binder (multi slotted with guide pins), Adjustable Hemmer Attachment, Edge Sticher Attachment, Narrow Hemmer Attachment, and Shirring or Gathering Foot. Also included is the Singer Buttonholer Kit.
