Up for bid is a vintage 1939 Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine with a case (and two keys), foot pedal/controller, and accessories. The serial number is AF386887, produced in 1939 (photo #5). The machine is in excellent used working condition with the following noted: the machine motor is a replacement though not sure when this was done (see picture #7); the faceplate is a striated version not a scroll type original to the 1939 featherweight (photo #8); the case is an original Singer Featherweight case purchased separately (there is no tray); the foot pedal/controller is an original to a 1950 Singer Featherweight machine that was purchased separately. It is in excellent working condition. This is a nice, working Singer Featherweight which will be shipped FEDEX.
