VINTAGE 1937 SINGER 221-1 FEATHERWEIGHT SEWING MACHINE W/CASE & ACCESSORRIES. Light works, sewing machine spins and needle is moving smoothly and quickly. I am not a sewing expert so I can’t try it to see if it operates fully so there will be no return on this item. Looks to have been get well taken care of but has been stored for several years. Will need a new belt. I attempted to order a new replacement however it did not fit the machine correctly even though the part number matched. Serial number AE417234, commission date of March 15,1937. The paddle and the cord are in great condition there are no Cracks or wear on the cord. This machine really is in great condition. I am hoping to find it good home.
There are several accessories. 11 bobbins, pair of Singer gold seal scissors, 2 packs of needles, thimbles, motor lubricant in original box, attachment for a singer hemstitch with original box and instruction booklet and have the original Machine manual and several other attachments. The case is showing wear as it would with its age but, the case latches securely with no issues at all. Could not locate the keys.
