Victorian Black Jet Beaded Triangle Leaf Applique Passementerie Trim Collar
This antique Victorian era black jet beaded triangle leaf applique passementerie trim collar dates from 1890. It is made of a variety of shapes sizes black jet glass beads strung on a brown rope cording creating a raised cutout triangle shaped leaf design. This beautiful beaded passementerie applique trim would have been used as a collar on a dress, bodice, cape or coat for added neckline decoration. Included is 8 matching pieces mostly still strung together and attached, each measuring 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches. It is in good as-is condition, with some missing beads and loose threads (see close-ups). Great for upcycling and restoration repairs. This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana beaded art!
