Very Unusual Tan Wiry Granite Archaic Plummet Scott Co, Missouri 2.3/8 x 1.3/8

Description

This very unusual wiry granite Archaic Grooved Plummet was found in Scott Co, Missouri and measures 2.3/8 inches long and is 1.3/8 inches wide across the body of the piece. This piece is made from a high grade piece of material and has a very nice polished surface.  When I purchased this piece from the finder I asked him about part of the surface of the piece being black and appears to be burnt.  He said that he found it in a wheat field that had been burnt off a week or so prior and that the black side was surely exposed to the fire.  I think its possible that you could clean the burnt surface but not 100% sure.  This piece is guaranteed to be 100% authentic and unaltered.
