Very fine 1.1/16 in. Desert point, trans-obsidian, Cowhead Springs, Modoc Co. CA

Description

I recently acquired a nice personal found collection assembled in the 1960s-80s from various locals in the southwest and west coast. One frame was labeled "Tree Area, west side Cowhead Springs 1976-78," which is located in Modoc County, California. That frame contained this very fine Desert arrow point. This point is made from a beautiful piece of translucent obsidian and is 1.1/16 inches long by 9/16 of an inch wide.
