Description
This soil acid hygrometer is a home-use machine that measures soil acidity without batteries.
By pressing a button on the side during measurement, it is possible to measure not only acidity but also an estimate of soil moisture content.
How to use the acidity meter
(1) If the soil is dry or has high fertilizer content before use, the correct PH value will not be obtained.
(2) Before use, polish the metal part well with an abrasive cloth or sandpaper to improve measurement accuracy. Also, when using a new product, insert it into soil 2 to 3 times to remove the oily content from the metal parts.
(3) Insert the electrode directly into the rice field, field or flower bed to be measured. Place the metal part completely in the soil and firm the surrounding area well so that the soil adheres to the metal electrode surface.
(4) After insertion into the soil, the needle stabilizes in about 1 minute, and the memory is read for measurement.
(5) The indicated value may differ due to the degree of soil adhesion, humidity, and fertilizer content depending on the measurement location. Measure several times and take the average value as the correct value.
(6) To determine if the lime has been properly applied, we recommend mixing the soil well and measuring after one to two weeks.
How to use the hygrometer
(1) Polish the metal electrode part well with a nylon scrubber or abrasive.
(2) Insert the metal electrode firmly into the soil so that it is buried.
(3) Measure the humidity. When the white button on the side of the meter is pressed and the pointer stabilizes, read the lower number (black). The meter's memory ranges from 1 to 8 and shows its value according to the dryness and wetness of the soil.
(4) Release the button to return to the acidity meter.
It becomes a hygrometer only while the button is pressed.
Please wipe off any serious stains with a wet towel or the like, as it is not waterproof.
