    Description

    Here are the foot pedal and cords which came with a Singer Model 401A sewing machine.
    The parts featured in this auction are from a Singer Model 401A sewing machine which has been parted out.  The foot pedal which came with it has a part # 197629 on the pedal, plus
    voltage
    listed as 95 - 145.  When tested briefly by pushing the button, it ran the motor smoothly and at different speeds, with the internals of the machine also moving correctly.  I believe this set of pedal and cords can be used with any 401 machine, as well as some of the 301s, and possibly 403s?
    The foot pedal is brown, and is in good cosmetic condition, with minor signs of use and wear.  The
    "feet" on the bottom of the
    pedal
    are black and pliable, so probably replacements at some time in the past.  The cord and 2-pin plug on the pedal are brown.  The power cord and plugs are black, with the 3 pin plug on the power cord in the stamped Singer and of firm "rubber."
    Please examine all the pictures carefully to form your own opinion of its condition.
