Up until about 12 years ago this machine was being used as it should, until the owner passed on. And she had it for 30+ years. Now the new owner (Daughter of 1st owner) is getting along in years and has no descendants interested in becoming a Seamstress/Seamster/Tailor.

One latch on carry box broken off many years ago.
