Scarce Vintage Kenwood KW 1100U Tube Receiver, 7591 Output Tubes - Minty

Up for sale is a very scarce Kenwood KW 1100U tube receiver from 1966. This unit has been in climate controlled storage for several decades.  Cosmetic condition is near perfect.  The faceplate,  controls, dial, and wood cabinet are beautiful.  I'm not sure if the cabinet is original but it sure looks professionally factory made vs homemade.
I gradually brought up power using a variac and it came to life.  Sounds great on AM/FM.  I did notice a slight volume imbalance between right and left channels. Most dial indicators light up.  That's the extent of my testing.  Due to it's 55 year age it should really be professionally inspected/serviced before going into full time use.  For that reason it's being sold As Is with no returns.
This monster weighs well over 50 lbs and measures approx. 20" x 17" x 9".  For that reason, it's for local pickup only within one hour of Portland, OR.

Rated at 110 watts of total music power, 55 watts per channel (IHF Standard).
Not many chances to enjoy classic tube audio from such a minty looking unit.
