Rare Archaic Side Notched Avon Chert Kessel Macoupin Co, Illinois 2.25 x 1.1/8

This very well made Archaic Side notched Kessel point was found in Macoupin Co, Illinois and measures 2.25 inches long and is 1.1/8 inches wide across the body of the point. This piece is made from a nice piece of white and tan Avon Chert from Central Illinois.  This piece is very well made and is really a nice example of a hard to find type.
