  • Condition: Good used condition, quite a powerful receiver. Faceplate removed and cleaned along with knobs, lights (dial, signal strength, FM tuning) replaced with cool blue LED's. Basic tests revealed no notable issues other than the middle pushbuttons are a bugger to get to, so they have a bit of static at times along with the other knobs, but just when you're compressing the button or turning a knob, not sustained. It's intermittent otherwise I'd list for parts only, but please be warned - it's not new, it hasn't been refurbished and appears to be mostly original, so this dude could fail at any time due to it's age. The faceplate, case and knobs have age scars and while they're now clean, they're far from perfect and showing their age. VU meters work and are excellent dancers. Function lights working as well. Selling as is, no returns, this is the heaviest receiver I've shipped thus far, and it will be packed with great care.

Maybe not a typical monster, but a beast for sure. This thing really packs a punch and reminded me I should be in a larger room to test receivers with this kind of power. I'm usually a 20-30 watt guy, so this was like a sock in the jaw. And the blue dial deserved some cool blue LED's, so, there you go. Please read the condition description for more details.
Reach out with questions before you buy, makes it way easier to make sure we're on the same page specific to the condition of the unit. The last thing I want to happen is to have you receive the unit and feel disappointed, so let me know if you have any concerns, happy to help. All of my units are in good working condition, but they're far from perfect, so if this is your first vintage unit please be aware that ~40 year old units can show their age, so if you hear a little fart of static every once and a while, or a nice "thump" sound when you power it up and you've left the speakers engaged, don't freak out!
If you have any concerns about this unit, please don't buy it.
