The SX-1250 was the top of the line receiver for 1976, it is regarded in build quality to be the best Pioneer made.

This unit has been fully recapped including main filter caps. DC offset has been checked and set. I have used it about 30 hours since completion to make sure no intermittent issues exist.Very clean and nice unit that will be the centerpiece of your audio system.
This unit is not a new in box or in perfect cosmetic form. Overall I would give it a 6.5- 7 out of 10 for cosmetic condition. (I believe that to be a picky rating for this unit)
I am thinning out my herd. I just don’t need doubles of everything and this is too nice to not let someone else enjoy.
