    I recently acquired some nice material from the Cocke County, Tennessee area that included this super nice Woodland Gorget. It's made from a mat black piece of slate or shale and is 4.7/8 inches long by 2.1/4 inches wide. This piece was well made and is still a fine example in spite of some damage.
