    This very well made Early Archaic Salem Chert Ovoid knife was found in Madison Co, Illinois and measures 4.1/8 inches long and is 1.5 inches wide across the body of the piece. This piece is made from a tan and white Salem Chert from Southern Illinois and is a classic example of this early type. This piece has been pre-historically re-sharpened giving the piece a beveled edge on all four sides of the piece. This piece is guaranteed to be 100% authentic and unaltered.
