    this Mississippian Culture FROG Effigy
    is in super fine condition  c. 1400 AD
    this bowl was authenticated, by the man,
    Roy Hathcock at the Central States
    Archaeological Soceity Annual event
    March 1999, great show it was
    it is similar to....but NOT !  the one
    in the picture #353 pp. #135 of the
    Ancient Indian Pottery of the
    Mississippian River Valley book
    by Roy Haathcock
    this one does NOT rattle
    it's just super solid
    the clay is slighty more gray then
    the photos show  can't seem to
    get that exact color on the screen
