    Pottery
    this Mississippian Culture  bowl
has been repaired  it's got cracks
very thick clay makes this bowl heavy
the repairs hold the bowl tight
nice sound to it when tapped
    the applied "bumps" or "nodes"
or "pie crust" clay description is
for those added clay bumps to it's
rim making it different and easy
    to identify the bowls history
the dark fire clouds on the outside
adds to it's origin and value
the clay is slighty more pale
    super lite greenish gray ????
then the photos show  can't seem to
get that exact color on the screen
