    this Mississippian Culture Bat
    effigy bowl is in super condition
    sharp stunning signs of use
    makes this shallow Bat bowl
    effigy delightful and unusual
    yes people, c. 1200-1600 AD
    held this piece in their hands
    the interior surface shows
    signs of wear  there is a
    "probe hole" repaired  barely
    shows inside..more on the outside
    other wise nice "fire clouds" on this
    very smart Bat and that "fin"
    on the back side of this Bat
    the clay is more brownish then
    the photos show    can't seem to
    get that exact color on the screen
