    Description

    MARANTZ 2275 HIGH QUALITY CLASSIC VINTAGE STEREO RECEIVER SERVICED WITH SOME NEW CAPACITORS AND DETAILED HAS EXCELLENT SOUND AND IN NICE NEAR MINT EXTERIOR CONDITION INCLUDES OWNER'S MANUAL AND NEW FM ANTENNA. This is a classic vintage 1970's 2275 Marantz stereo receiver that has Excellent sound quality. These vintage receivers are known for their high quality sound and excellent build quality. The receiver has a great looking brushed aluminum faceplate with metal knobs, large blue lighted tuning scale, and wood look metal cabinet. This receiver also has the famous Marantz Gyro-Touch tuning. This receiver has had some new capacitors installed as needed. The service work was done in 2006. All new capacitors are quality audio grade capacitors. It is noted that one channel has two replacement main output transistors that are correct. All of the controls and switches were recently cleaned and lubricated with Deoxit. The DC offset and idle current were checked and adjusted. The receiver is in excellent working condition with clean excellent sound and all functions work well. All dial and meter lamps have been newly replaced with upgraded LED warm white lamps and the diffuser paper has been newly replaced. All indicator lamps and the stereo indicator lamps are in working condition. Power output for the 2275 is 75 Watts per Channel which is underrated and this is a great receiver to connect a Phono turntable or CD player and even an IPOD with adapter or listen to the AM/FM stereo radio. The receiver has a high quality AM-FM tuning radio section and the radio section is in excellent working condition. The receiver has good tonal control with bi-level Treble, Midrange, & Bass controls and a Loudness switch to boost frequency range at low volume levels. There are inputs for Phono 1, Tape 1, Tape 2, and AUX and the Tape and AUX inputs can be used for CD or DVD analog or IPOD device with adapter. There is Main Amp In and Preamp Out so these sections can be used individually. The 2275 receiver can handle down to 4 Ohm speakers so a wide variety of speakers can be used. Two pairs of speakers can be connected with an 8 Ohm minimum per pair. The receiver is in very nice overall near mint condition. The knobs were hand polished and are excellent with very light wear. The faceplate is near mint with a very small number of tiny nicks. The clear lens over the tuning scale has been cleaned and is excellent. The wood look metal cabinet has been cleaned and is near mint condition with light wear. The interior of the receiver is in excellent condition with light wear. The circuit boards are in good shape. The rear panel is Excellent and all connects are in excellent condition. The AM antenna are is in excellent condition. This is a very clean receiver in very nice shape.  Included is the original Owner's Manual with schematic and a new FM Dipole antenna.
