    Description

    The artifact(s) listed is a true and genuine artifact that has been in my family for generations. It is NOT a replica or modern reproduction. It was found in or near Burnett County, Texas. My great grandfather owned and operated several farms in that area around the turn of the century. This artifact was unearthed during the plowing/planting process. He just collected them all in a big box. So I do not know exactly which farm it came from.
    According to the Burnett County website, Burnett County had indigenous peoples as early as 4500 BC. Later known tribes include Tonkawa, Lipan Apache and Comanche. I am NOT an authority on artifacts and am not going to venture into age, tribe/people, type of stone or condition. Please use the photos to determine type/condition for yourself.
