FISHER 500-T FM STEREO RECEIVER 500T For Restoration

Description

Fisher 500-T AM/FM Stereo Receiver acquired from the family of the original owner. I tested this unit using a pair of vintage Dynaco A25 speakers and thin wire for an indoor antenna. My findings are: Unit works but one channel has stronger output than the other when the balance control is centered. As stated, both channels have output, just one channel is stronger. The signal meter works but the stereo indicator lamp is not illuminating. Cosmetically, this receiver shows some age wear. Some of the lettering, such as the word "volume" is wearing thin. There are some small scratches and finish wear here and there, but nothing obnoxious as far as flaws. Due to age, a long period of non-use, and the above mentioned weaker channels this receiver is offered for restoration and sold as is. This receiver is over a half century old, it definitely needs service/repair. Please view the auction photos. What you see is Exactly what you get. NO UNPLEASANT SURPRISES. We use FedEx exclusively for shipping. Most items are hand packed in house. We pack each item differently depending on size, weight, shape, etc. Your item will be packed as if we were sending it to ourselves. You will not be disappointed with our packing skills.

Fedex ground takes anywhere from 2-8 working day's for delivery, depending on your location in relation to ours. Please have patience. As previously stated, I send out a confirmation email the day your item is shipped. We have no control over FedEx. I promise you, it will get there!
All items are cleaned and disinfected on the exterior before photo's are taken and again before shipment unless stated in my auction. You won't receive any dirty, smelly, smoke stained items from this seller. We do not open up working units to inspect or to clean.
