(It will NOT remove the Operating system password or Hard Drive password)
After installing the EFI Card you will need to install a clean copy of macOS. (Please first ERASE the hard drive using Disk Utility and then reinstall macOS)
Do not remove the card. It is small designed to stay connected inside your Mac.
We can program your original serial number.
Note: Do not use your original serial number if your Mac has MDM or DEP profile.

- You need to have tools to open the back cover and install the EFI Card.
- You need to know how to erase and install a clean version of macOS.
- You need to know how to change the system date and time when you get Untrusted Cert Title or similar error messages.
- You need to know how to create a USB installer in case the internet recovery doesn’t work.
