    Cape Stemmed type knives made of somewhat semi translucent quartz range in size from 1 5/8" to 2 1/2" long...date to approx. 1490-2400 years old...this type is generally found on the Cape and the Islands and are usually made of quartz...occaisionally found west of Cape Cod...Field finds on the Pamet River in Truro,MA.,outer Cape Cod early 1900's.
