    Description

    Cape Stemmed type point made of semi translucent golden quartz measures 2 1/2" long....a thicker heavy duty point with slightly tapered thinning at the point...probably a dart spear attached to a forshaft for big game...dates to approx. 1490-2400 years old...this type is generally found on the Cape and the Islands and are usually made of quartz...Field find on the Pamet River in Truro,MA.,outer Cape Cod early 1900's.
