Beautiful VINTAGE Genuine RACCOON FUR LINED Removable COLLAR Collectible

This is another beautiful thing from my mother's collection, and recently out of storage.
A stunning, vintage removable collar, made of fine Raccoon Fur. It is lined, as shown, and measures a total of 10" wide, at the back center "point", narrowing slightly as it goes around the shoulders, ending at the front to 3", with a metal closure (shown). This piece is wonderful and soft, with an unusual, beautiful undercoat of fine hair included, around the back and shoulder area (shown). It measures a total length, of approximately 42" - hard to measure since it is moon shaped. It is totally lined in Black File, with great finishing.
Condition is excellent vintage, with no signs of wear. A great collectible piece, to wear either over a collarless sweater, or to accent a blazer or winter coat. It lays beautifully around the neck and shoulders on its own, and could easily be tacked down without using the center closure, if desired. A lovely thing coming from a smoke free environment, suitable for a man or woman.
