    Description

Authentic green banded slate salvaged pendant.
Pictured in Kentucky Relic News, Summer 1984.
1.8 in. tall x 1.0 in. wide. Found in Central Kentucky.  Tom Davis Certificate of Authenticity. Drilled in the front when originally made, then the pendant broke at the drill hole.  So the pendant was reshaped to make a smaller pendant, then drilled a new hole at 90 degrees from the original drill hole. The remnants of the original drill hole can still be seen.
Thickness varies from 0.15 in. to 0.35 in.(at drill hole). Ex Wilt Milliams collection. I purchased at the Milt Williams estate sale at Rainbow Traders Auction Service where it had a guarantee of authenticity. No modern re-chipping or restoration.
