    Description

This delicate, pencil-wide Angostura was found in North Dakota. It measures 2 15/16" in length by 3/4" wide. The material is a high-grade porcellanite. The cross-section is lenticular and the flaking is diagonal pressure and well-executed. The Angostura type was found with Agate Basin points at the Long Site at Angostura Reservoir in South Dakota. This fine artifact dates to about 9,000 B.P., and it comes with a Ben Stermer COA. Thanks for looking!
