    This authentic example of a very well made Dovetail, made of a beautiful Banded Local Gray Flint, found in Missouri.  Beautiful form and  flaking, nice beveling.  Minimal restoration with nick on tip and base restored.  See the restoration certificate for an image of the “as found” artifact.   The restored area is a mixture of all stone, no putty is ever used.
