    Description

    Up for sale is an
    Antq Mark Twain Hallmark Hall Hartwell & Co. Soft Men's Ivory Color Button on Collar Troy NY.  I believe Mark Twain endorsed this product and was paid to have his signature on it. This collar belonged to my great-grandfather who passed away in 1928, so I know it dates at least back to that year. Stamped on the inside neck surface of the collar is: "Mark Twain's signature, HALLMARK HALL HARTWELL & SO TROY, 596-D MARKAY LAUDRY SHRUNK size 16." There are button hols on each end and in the middle. The collar is 1 11/16" tall at the back of the neck and unfolds to 3". It is 15 3/4" long at the top and 17" long at the bottom.
