    Description

    Up for auction is a antique small oval dish made by T & R Boote in the Lucania Pattern (blue floral).  This pattern was discontinued in 1893.  The business was founded in 1842 y Thomas Latham Boote and Richard Boote in Burslem, England.  This could well be an underplate for a gravy boat or sauce boat.  It is oval and measures 8" by 5 3/4".  Despite the crazing and 2 tiny rim chips, it is in remarkable condition.
