Antique Collars & Cuffs celluloid covered box with collar stays

Description

This Regency era decorative box was originally intended for men’s paper collars and cuffs. Someone continued to use it to hold collar stays and whatever. It is cardboard and covered with celluloid. The inside was covered in pink silk which mostly only remains inside the lid. It has a decorative metal snap closure. The box measures 6 ¾ x 6 ¾ x 5”.
