Antique c1900 Handmade BRUSSELS Bruges Bobbin LACE Collar Cape Dotted * AS IS
Antique (c1900) creamy handmade Brussels Bruges bobbin lace wide collar or cape. Stemmed flowers, on delicate net, dotted background, partially trimmed with pearls. This is a salvaged piece, and is
offered as is, with imperfections
.  Please note there are tears or slits in the lace in some areas (see close-ups), the the pearl trim is incomplete.  Satin trim on the inside. Apx 25" across / diameter (as shown); apx 22" around, at the top; apx 58" around at the bottom; the widest area in the back is apx 12" wide; each flower motif is apx 3 3/4" X 3" (the flower heads are apx 1"). The design is assymetrical ~ the sides in the front are different widths.  Displays well, as is, or lots of pretty lace for projects. Enlarge photos for detail.
