This is a 4 pound river rock with a groove pecked out in ancient times by the Columbia River people near Kennewick, Washington state. Stones like this were used to add weight to the bottoms of their fishing nets. It is about 5" by 4" in an oval shape and in good condition. See pics...email questions.
