Amphetamine offers speed kits from Abec 5 all the way up to full ceramic. This is the Ceramic Gold Bearing kit. This kit is for the high-end customer who wants the best. Period. Once you start using ceramic bearings you wont go back (for good reason). There is not a kit better than this in price or quality for what you are getting out of it. Silicon Nitride ball bearings are harder than metal which reduces contact with the bearing track. This results in 80% less friction, 3 to 10 times longer lifetime, 80% higher speed, 60% less weight, the ability to operate with lubrication starvation, higher corrosion resistance and higher operation temperature, as compared to traditional bearings. Silicon Nitride balls weigh 79% less than tungsten carbide balls. Silicon Nitride bearings are used in the main engines of NASA's Space Shuttles (jus sayin). Please note, this kit includes BOTH 6mm and 8mm bearings spacers. Depending on what type of axles your skate has, you will use one or the other, BUT NOT BOTH! Skates that have 6mm axles will use the stepped spacer while skates that have 8mm spacers will use the self centering spacer.
