A complete kit of materials to clean and polish the front panels of the original AR Amplifier, Model AU, Tuner, and Receivers, Models R and W. Can be used on many pieces of electronics.
We have been servicing these units for over 20 years and have restored many. If you have purchased one of our restored ones, you may wonder how we manage to do so well cleaning the front panels. These AR electronics all have a gold anodized aluminum front panel. Over the years, grime and salt from your hands has developed dirty smudges and perhaps white spots especially around the control knobs. You may have tried cleaning the panels with various kitchen cleansers or soaps or whatever. The stains probably have not come off to your satisfaction and hopefully you have not damaged the finish.
This kit contains the special cleaner and polish we use along with a complete set of instructions and cleaning pads. Following our directions, you will not damage the lettering. This will also remove minor scratches. In fifteen minutes, your panel can look like this AR Amplifier and Tuner. Given the very small amount of material used at any one time, this kit should last you many years for periodic use.
