4 AUTHENTIC EARLY ARCHAIC TENNESSEE ARROWHEADS, KIRK, BIG SANDY, TENNESSEE RIVER

Description

Authentic arrowheads from the Chattanooga, TN area.   These Early Archaic artifacts are made of patinated Ft. Payne Chert and Buffalo River Chert (Big Sandy).  They may have some chips or dings but are mostly complete.  The 2 Kirk corner notched points have an ear ding.  The Cobbs blade has a small spokeshave on one edge.  The side notched Big Sandy has been prehistorically repaired at the tip (rounded off) from an impact fracture.  Range from 2-1/2" to 3-1/8" long.
