3D Vintage Goosey, Goosey Gander, wood cut Nursery Rhyme, wall plaqueChildren's Nursery Rhyme Fairy Tale c. 1940
The earliest recorded version of this rhyme is in Gammer Gurton's Garland or The Nursery Parnassus published in London in 1784. I'm not sure if I
would disclose the entire verse, as with most very early rhymes for children, they are somewhat harsh or violent .....
G
oosey goosey gander,
Whither shall I wander?
Upstairs and downstairs
And in my lady's chamber.
There I met an old man
Who wouldn't say his prayers,
So I took him by his left leg
And threw him down the stairs
Measures approx. 7.75" by 9.5"
