Nice pre-emissions truck with a legendary 10.8L ISM Cummins! This truck runs, drives and operates as it should. The Cummins 10.8L ISM turbo diesel starts up and runs great with no abnormal noises or smoke. The Allison automatic shifts through all gears and operates as it should. The truck goes down the road smooth and overall pretty nice for a large dump truck. The 15' steel dump body is in great condition with no major damage or rust. The bed operates 100% via in cab pistol grip lever. It has air tailgate locks and the tarp operates well from an in cab switch. The steel dump body hoist was replaced with a new one and functions 100%. The frame and underside has been sandblasted down to bare metal and painted in a rust inhibiting black paint. The cab and interior is clean inside and out with only light signs of use, both seats are in good condition. Overall this truck is a very presentable and nice looking rig. All tires appear to be in good condition with plenty of life left. All of the lights work and this truck is ready to hit the road. No warning lights on the dash. The truck has cold air conditioning and hot heat. Overall you are looking at a presentable and fully operational dump truck that is ready to work. This truck was a previous VDOT truck and we purchased it directly from them. This was a previous plow truck so expect some surface rust, light dings, dents and minimal damage.
