    Description

Up for sale is an outstanding Hopewell arrowhead that was recovered in Saginaw County, Michigan. It is made from a very high grade of Bayport chert and has a great color and material. This great point is
2 1/4 inches long and is 1 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. Mitch Lewis guaranteed this point to be 100% authentic and unaltered.
Hopewell points are from the Woodland archaeological periods and are between 2,500 and 1,500 years old.
I purchased this nice point from Mitch Lewis, a well-respected collector and it is from the Chris Duffy (Marion, Illinois) collection. Mitch is from Salem, Illinois and is published in Who’s Who in Indian Relics, Volume 11 and Legends of Prehistoric Art, Volume III. Mitch is also the grandson of Don Lewis, a famous collector.
