1.1/8 in. Columbia Plateau point, trans-obsidian, Cowhead Springs, Modoc Co. CA

Description

I recently acquired a nice personal found collection assembled in the 1960s-80s from various locals in the southwest and west coast. One frame was labeled "Cowhead Springs 1963," which is located in Modoc County, California. That frame contained this gorgeous Columbia Plateau arrow point that's made from an outstanding piece of translucent obsidian. It's 1.1/8 inches long by 1/2 of an inch wide.
